The iron lady

Today in English class we watched the movie The Iron Lady. I have never been very interested in the history of Britain during the last couple of decades and to be honest, I never had any idea what kind of a woman Margaret Thatcher really was. The film totally changed my mind. I knew from the start it was going to be a great hour and 40 minutes. I instantly loved the classy and elegant look she sports throughout the entire movie. Even more important than that, I adore her views considering balancing her family and career and even more just her willingness and courage to take action in a world ruled by men. If before I wasn't totally convinced that Meryl Streep won that Oscar fair and square, I definitely am now.

Happy 29th of February!

Covet

Just my teensy guilty pleasures. M. van der Horst is the closest thing to perfection. I love the others, too, but those pastels are impossible not to covet!

No, this is not a hoax... I really am back! I'm so sad that I have been too tired these whole two past months that I haven't been able to post in such a while. However, just like about two months ago, I am still sort of obsessed with dip dye. Believe me, I've been too tired to even drag myself  to a hair dresser's to get my hair done. I just want some more color in my life. I have never colored my natural blonde hair but I know that I just somehow need this. Enough of the rutine for me! I promise...No! I swear March will be a better month for me and this time I cross my heart and promise that I'll get back to my regular posts....there is just so much beauty I have discovered while browsing the fashion week photos and other pictures. Meanwhile I give you these gorgeous hair styes to drool over!

Belts

I have never been much of an accessory person. I guess throwing on heaps of jewelry in the morning is sort of overrated for me. However, I have never quite understood why I tend to dislike belts. They come in handy once in a while and they're not that annoying. Today I finally put one on after many complaints from my friends (yes, too much info, I guess) and the fact that it was starting to get on my nerves that my black tights were constantly visible. (See, not too much details after all. I don't wear saggy pants!) Now that I have discovered this very fascinating part of my pants-revolution, please bear with me and agree that these belts need to be mine. ASAP.

Shining white

I have to tell you I think I'm obsessed with white dresses. I have no idea what has brought this weird change of mind, I used to think white clothes were the most impractical things ever considering that I'm sort of one of those people who manages to get even things in a sealed cup on them one way or the other. I guess I just feel grown up enough to take the risk of wearing clothes that are the easiest to get dirty. Or maybe it's the fact that every time I look outside I see white and can't avoid the color anyway? Who knows.
I just know I love white stuff now.

The cold

As the cold keeps creeping in, I can't help but think about how beautiful all this snow and winter overall is. It just makes me want to put on a white dress and play with the snow, not caring how freezing it actually is...Anyway, I wish you a wonderful beginning of the month of love, February! That being said, I'm sorry for the post drought last month-the new year just came like a shocker to me, I just couldn't get focused. Forgive and forget?
Personally, for some reason I just can't wait until Valentine's Day. Most of my friends keep calling it official forever alone day but I'm just a hopeless romantic. Basically in Europe Valentine's Day is more for celebrating friendship than burdening your valentine with ridiculous expectations.
I promise I'll try to keep from being MIA this month. I'm going to France in less than two months and I have to get my hands on a camera. And then my personal pictures will start flowing in. You have been warned!
