Proenza

via
I'm not that kind of person who is obsessed with runway fashion and wearing a name isn't my thing. However, I can't help it but sometimes glimpse at what is going on in the high fashion industry. This is Proenza Schouler Spring 2010, so I guess it's sort of outdated now but I still can't help but love the summery feeling this piece has to it.

Arousing

What I have been loving for the past few weeks and seriously just can't get enough of are latex skirts. I have one similar to the one on the first picture and I've been dying to have an excuse to wear it more. Of course I would also love to own one more colorful, like the red or pink one! Than again, I highly doubt my mom would let me out of the house wearing that! ;)

P.S.
I am so honored, once again. I have been awarded another marvelous award by the fabulous and witty Dusty at Girls Love Fried Pickles. My favorite posts from her are her Two Cents, the way she writes always is able to make me smile. Make sure to check out her oh-so-wonderful blog! Thanks again :)

P.P.S. I also changed the settings for my comments so now the replies are directly under your awesome comments.

Fabulously girly

I just finished my English history presentation on the era of 1914-1933. I love the 20s!! It's mostly what I'm going to talk about tomorrow and while watching clips to show to the class I thought about how I would have loved to live then. I instantly thought of all this ladylike and girly things I adore. For instance thigh high leggings. Cutest things...ever! Also perfect for winter, especially when they're made of cashmere...A girl can dream :)

Tutus

I guess that one thing will never leave my mind - dancing. A few years ago I thought how good it would have been for me if my parents had put me in ballet or ice skating when I was young, I would be mindblowingly flexible and probably a lot less lazy right now. Tutus are just  the cherry on top. Having something so elegant yet simple and especially in snow white or light pink would be so close to perfect! If only I could find a skirt or even dress similar to one of these...

Dipping

I'm the kind of person who likes extempore decisions. Actually more like loves. I like to dream that the future isn't set in stone and make my days a bit brighter by doing things that just pop into my mind. For the past few days I have constantly been obsessed with dip dye hair. I am so proud of my natural long blonde hair but I also want to spice things up a bit. I'm too lazy to wake up earlier just to do my hair, though. I tried with markers and I love it to say the least. Time will tell if I'm going to get a permanent dip dye or not but it's still pretty awesome, right?

What's up Sunday?

This is what I have been up to. I have gotten on the nail-art obsession train once again. This one isn't as cool as I thought it would turn out, though. And of course the infamous men's dress shirt transformation. Sadly my awful phone camera didn't capture it the right way at all. But I'll live. I think I'm going to take a small break this first week of school which coincidentally starts tomorrow (I'm devastated) to just let the fact that I am once again a slave sink in. Crafting will probably be the only thing to keep me going. Let's hope so!
